THINKPAD WITH THINKPAD MINI DOCK SERIES 3 for ((w520))

Hi everyone;

so I get my NEW laptop order .. and excited as I was to get it after weeks of delay; was sad and dismayed to see few parts didnt go together and or were WRONG ITEMS for the model!! I had ordered a FULL SPEC'D W Series with extras like : Ultrabay HARD DRIVE ADAPTOR, BLURAY WRITER/PLAYER and DOCKING STATION ...... etc etc

To my dismay, the HD adaptor = WRONG ONE !! BLUERAY= WRONG ONE and DOCK = not quite what I wanted....only has SINGLE DISPLAYPORT connector!! not TWO as I was told to get 'that one' blahblah....

So I call Lenovo sales ,,,,,, and after what seems 10 silly questions; the rep told me " yes no problems - we can return the parts with a RESTOCKING FEE!!!!!! So I asdvised him all these parts were ORDERD from the WEBSITE as "ACCESSORIES and where only 'choices' were 'click to choose' AND further CONFIRMED with a LIVE SALES PERSON (gave him the REP ID CODE) for the person who help complie the order!!!

so long story short; am sending the WHOLE ORDER back ! for FULL REFUND and ordering my 2nd choice DELL M6400 (a plus as I get 15in IPS display )


So any one wanting to orde a DOCK with 2 DP ports (able to hook up 4 screen), here is the CORRECT LINK to parts list on this PDF document ( not sure if this will remain on line for a while) The DUAL PORT DP = near bottom of that page!

Sounds like you ran into a bit of trouble there, son...

Hate to see you giving up the ship on Lenovo just cuz of some idiot sales rep. Second chance, maybe??

Or, do you have to wait on your Dell 'puter to crap out before you return to the mother ship??

well...mother ships is already have way to sinkin...as I already tired with 'FOUR" set of shipments of that SAME ORDER - nothing sems to make sence , and i dont have time to call and be on hold for 20+ mins ...blah blah...
and am ALREADY of another ship ! lol ....15inch ips panel is pure joy to watch at home!
Good thing work pple finally realsied - NOT to PUT ALL EGGS in one basket!

not going to far , as I still have my t+x series to play with
