I will be taking the forum offline, from time to time, at about 3:00 am eastern USA time to backup the system..
this should take no longer than 15 minutes..

then the forum will go back online..

i have no set schedule, i just wait until there are as few members online as possible so as not to disturb someone posting..

A full system backup that has been occurring about 16:00 hours eastern US time has been taking the forum down for about 10 minutes each time without notice..

the time that this happens has been changed so it should be occurring about 04:00 hours eastern time..

please let me know if this backup interferes with forum activities when needed and I will ask that the time of backups be moved to about 06:00 hours eastern time..
which time might be better for all..
