Regular or Extra-Life Battery for R51 ThinkPad

I need to get a new battery for my R51 ThinkPad. I can get a "regular" battery with 4400 mAH capacity or an "Extra-Life" battery with 6600 mAH. The regular battery is the same size as the original. The extra-life battery is larger and the vendor says the laptop will sit at a slight angle. The differentce in cost is $10. I don't use a docking station.

Any thought as to which version I should buy?

Whatever you buy, make sure that it's a genuine IBM/Lenovo battery and *not* a generic replacement.

An extended life 9-cell battery will give you about 30-40% more runtime in real life, depending on your settings.
