Thinkpad R61i Rebooting while loading LIVE DVD HELP !!!

Hello I've big problem with my Thinkpad R61i. I've took off harddrive from my notebook and I'm trying to boot Knoppix DVD 6.7.1 or Live Gentoo DVD 11.2 x64 but the effect is always the same REBOOT. When I try to boot knoppix on notebook it loads kernel then init.gz and then REBOOT. Meybe I schould change something in bios ?? Please help Notebook components are fully working I've checked all of them with PC Doctor diagnostic tool from lenovo website.

Had the same problems with an R61e.
There are 2 options:
1) your CD/DVD is not burned correctly (most likely problem). Using a good CD/DVD solved my problem.
2) your CD/DVD drive is not working correctly. Borrow another drive.

If 2) is the case, try creating a USB bootable stick. It's faster than the CD/DVD and makes no noise

Ok. I'll check dvd media with I use once again but all of my discs are verified with burning software in my case Nero burning rom.
