Lenovo Thinkpad Z61m 9450-HAG display problem help?

I have Thinkpad Lenovo Z61m 9450-HAG, my display doesn't work but my camera works, do i need LCD cable assembly or new LCD monitor what you think, one more question on lenovo site i can't find path number for 9450-HAG, i only find for 9450-CTO is it same like HAG?

CTO = Customer To Order..
search the lenovo site using your machine type and then serial number..
you SHOULD find your exact machine in detail..

also, take a look at the hardware maintenance manual for your thinkpad..
it will show whether the camera cable is in the same ribbon cable and the display cable..

also, have you checked to see if an external monitor will work..?

That's one of the most desirable Z61m configurations, IMHO. I'd bet that you need a new panel. However, it could also be the cable (as you noted), inverter, backlight or a fuse on the motherboard (which would be the worst situation). FYI, with a bad backlight or blown fuse, you should be able to still see dark images on the LCD. Also, make sure the LCD cable is firmly seated at both ends.

Note that you can use any resolution ThinkPad 15.4" panel, WXGA, WSXGA+ or WUXGA. Also, PM forum member TuuS, he has panels available at reasonable prices. Good luck.
