A31p radios upgrade

#1 Post by chuckenheimer » Wed Apr 04, 2012 6:20 pm

Years ago I upgraded my bluetooth and Wi-Fi with the most capable radios then available. During my recent rebuild of the 2653-r9u, I installed the newer of the radios but had trouble with both working properly. I have determined it is a driver issue and need to know what drivers and the nomenclature of the corresponding part numbers of the chips to get both working.

I don't know why I am having an issue with my Logitec V700 but I know, too, it is software related.

Can someone shed some light on this for me? Thanks.

XP PRO w/ SP3 and all updates. Only about 1/2 of the Lenovo's are applied yet.

What cards exactly do you have installed and what OS are you running?

Actionec BMDC200 Rev. B (new) and the Wi-Fi is in the box. I'll take it apart and look later. The modem works with original but not this one. Let me get a brief blurb together and report back. In the meantime, what software is designed for the BMDC200?

I'm finally back up again and back at it. I've gotten the two newer chips (CBDC and Wi-Fi) back into the box. These were the two I purchase years ago for my upgrade then. I've checked and not all have FRU #s. I think the software is my problem. I've messed up the registry, etc. by experimenting with newer versions and don't know how to back them out.

I'll get my blurb with details ready for you so we can move on. Thanks!
