R52 trackpad loses scrolling

Hello New guy. I hope i got this in the right place.

I have an R52 2 gig 100 G running Win7. It has developed a problem with the trackpad losing its scrolling ability after waking up from an FnF4 hibernation. Is there a way to restore without reboot or something I need to add ,check. i just went through all the thinkvantage toolbox upgrades and updates

Sometimes it will scroll with the up and down arrow keys and sometimes it wont
