Need ThinkPad R60 TrackPoint dirvers and Battery drivers
Need ThinkPad R60 TrackPoint dirvers and Battery drivers
Sorry, but the Lenovo descriptions of "Drivers and software" is less than useless:
http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/researc ... D=HT035691
Under Mouse, I've tried all three, they say "Install the ThinkPad UltraNav driver before installing this wizard", but there is nothing named UltraNav driver listed.
And I need the driver that gives me the green battery-shaped meter in the task bar.
I'm running Windows XP.
Thanks!

I believe that the same Battery MaxiMiser is used for all XP thinkpads so this should work:

Re: Need ThinkPad R60 TrackPoint dirvers and Battery drivers
Thanks lots, I'll install that later today!!!
Now I need the TrackPoint driver, and also the program that shows the volume control on the screen.

I don't know about your trackpoint driver but the volume control is under "Hotkey Features" here:

Re: Need ThinkPad R60 TrackPoint dirvers and Battery drivers
Lenovo System Update usually gets all that stuff, have you installed and run that?

No, procedure is to have all the install files on the HD so I can easily do a re-install.Easy Wind wrote:Lenovo System Update usually gets all that stuff, have you installed and run that?

I don't know what's going on, but I installed the Hotkeys Features, enabled OSD, and I still don't get the onscreen volume control.

Re: Need ThinkPad R60 TrackPoint dirvers and Battery drivers
try un-installing the OSD and hotkeys apps, reboot and re-install them.
The reason why I use Lenovo System Update (versus storing the install files myself) is that will detect, and select, the proper drivers for your system. Doing it this way means there are only 2 files you need to keep, that should work on any Lenovo. TVSU for a 32bit system/XP, and TVSU 64bit for the newer OS's

Thanks, but I don't think you understand.Easy Wind wrote:try un-installing the OSD and hotkeys apps, reboot and re-install them.
There is no OSD app. There is only the hotkeys app (linked to above http://support.lenovo.com/en_GB/downloa ... D=DS014985 ), with a tab labelled "On Screen Display".
Are you aware of an OSD app?

Re: Need ThinkPad R60 TrackPoint dirvers and Battery drivers
I'm thinking of a different App I guess.
I've seen an uninstall/re-install of the hotkeys app clear this up though.
YMMV of course
