Thinkpad A21m ; Type 2628 will not startup

Greetings everyone. This is my first post here, so I'll try to be as swift and descriptive as possible.

The title pretty much says it all. The AC-Adapter works, and the Battery charges just fine (Incidentally, it just finished gaining a full charge, if the green Battery Light is any indication, a few minutes ago). When the Power button is pressed, the battery light blinks and it makes a noise like it wants to startup, but then nothing happens. I checked, and it has the RAM and HDD. Not sure if there's anything ON said HDD, since I can't even get it to boot to BIOS, but I know the physical hardware is at least there. Any help on this matter would be highly appreciated.

Nice to see a timely reply on a support forum, for once. I'll look through the sticky, and get back with ya'll later if the troubleshooting steps have kept me where I'm at now. Hopefully I can get this thing up and running.

Don't get you hopes too high...what you're describing sounds like a "Blink Of Death"...Google for it, and you'll come up with a zillion hits most likely...
