A31 HDD Upgrade

I am considering to upgrade my A31's 20g HDD to either 60g or 80g.

I am looking at Hitachi Travelstar 7K60 and 5K80.

Should I go for 60g 7200 rpm or 80g 5400rpm? is preformance between 2 is significant? Is 7200rpm noiser than other hdd? 20g is not noticeable to me at least?

The faster hard drive is noticeably faster than the 5400-rpm drive. My 7200-rpm drive is quiet and smooth. The very slow 4200-rpm drive that came with my laptop is exceedingly smooth and quiet, and by that standard, the 7200-rpm drive is not as quiet. But I like the speed and computing smoothness, and it quiet enough for me. ... jdhurst

Thanks for info, I think I'll go for 7200rpm 60g, as 20g 4800 is really slow! That HDD is real bottleneck.
