R30 - Faulty Screen Image

#1 Post by todi1010 » Mon May 09, 2005 9:22 am

I got my girlfriend an R30 not too long ago and she does what she needs. The other day, she went to boot it up and the screen had a slight yellow to it and the WinXP logo seems to overlap itself on boot up and remains that way. Is the screen dead or something else causing this problem?

Thanks,

It's seems like the bottom half of the screen has shifted up to the middle of the screen. Is there anything to fix this?

How does it look if you plug it into a monitor?

So there's a remote chance it's the system board, but odds are it's your LCD. Reseating the video cable might fix the problem.
