r50e

i have an ibm thinkpad r50e and i insalled windows xp pro i have installed the audio driver but can get no sound can anyone help ?

Was sound working before installing XP Pro?

Make sure it's not muted.

To test it: run a Linux Life-CD and see if sound works then.
If not, you have a hardware problem.

everything ok the sound was turned down on volume buttons at top of keyboard thank for all replies :lol:
