Recommend wireless card

#1 Post by jronald » Sat Aug 16, 2014 3:28 pm

Im trying to cool down my Z61t, recommend a 1/2 sized wireless card, I prefer Atheros, but that's not etched in stone.

Also will it work on my T60's? all machines are running 7 Ultimate.

Thanks
Ron

Presuming modded BIOS, any Atheros "n" card from Apple.

Presuming standard BIOS, 42T0825.

Whatever works in Z61t will work in T60, but not necessarily the other way around.

Both Bios have the white list removed, so anything "should" run. Any particular chip sets you like?

9380 or similar...I'm getting 450 Mbps on a dual-band router. YMMV.
