R61 power adapter question

I purchased a new adapter for my R61 and it just crapped out. I've got an adapter from a T61 here. Wondering if I can use it as a replacement?

The specs for the R61 adapter are 20V 3.24A. For the T61 20V 4.5A.

You can always use a higher current rated adapter (4.5A) in place of a lower one (3.25A); DC output voltage and the type of DC plug being the same. For the R61, two different adapters were shipped with the systems: a 65W (20V 3.25A) unit for systems having integrated (Intel) graphics or a 90W (20V 4.5A) adapter for systems that have the Nvidia graphics chip. If your R61 has Intel graphics, then you can use either 65W or 90W. However, if it has Nvidia graphics, then you should only be using the 90W adapter.
