Greetings!
ADDING TO MAIN POST BELOW:
Thanks to user feedback I was able to download and run the Broadcom Bluetooth driver setup wizard and in a nutshell after some hassling it does see that I have a Bluetooth mouse but it won't confirm the mouse's identity which it asks for by clicking a button on the screen with the mouse but doesn't work, unlike under Mint which asked for a 4-digit number code which was in the mouse's instructions to do the job. How can I get Broadcom to do the same?
Thanks!
==========
I'm unable to connect my R60e with a Bluetooth mouse under XP but it did with Linux Mint (via flash drive) under two minutes.
As per XP user suggestions I went to Control Panel and clicked Bluetooth DEvices and got the Bluetooth Devices menu where in the Options Tab I clicked on Turn Discovery On and under Connections I clicked on Allow Bluetooth to connect to computer and Alert me when new Bluetooth device wants to and Show Bluetooth in notification area. I clicked Apply and get:
An error occurred while Windows was saving your settings: Discoverability settings and Connection settings. There is no "My Bluetooth Places" anywhere.
I Googled up dozens of vague and seemingly guess-timate remedies. I think I uploaded the latest Lenova drivers via its auto-update feature. Any tip would be very much appreciated.
