The most efficient way is to buy a damaged / destroyed / burnt unit for a 1$ and rip it of the cable and inverter. Buying a working unit in nice shape is quite a problem right now.
Too many thinkpads not enough time!

Well that's exactly what I did to earn UXGA display (lid assembly completely swapped from your machine you sold to me with UXGA IPS and antenna for my Intel 2200bg card and thanks for supplying me that too btw :lol: ) on my A30 which ended up being upgraded with A30p motherboard, PIIIM1.2, 1GB RAM, 80GB HDD & Windows 7 sp1, 2 cdrw/DVD combo drives, Thinkpad bluetooth III from T41p, Intel 2200BG and UXGA. Since the school barely used this unit due to its display (horizontal lines) & GPU defect, it had been sitting there in extremely good condition
