R60/R61 mobo replacement

#1 Post by wujstefan » Wed Apr 12, 2017 3:26 pm

Hello,

I've got a nice R60 4:3 with bad mobo, and a R61 with bad everything but the mobo. Is the board swappable? If so, any hardware mod needed?

I'm just calculating if playing with it is just worth the effort :D

Every R60 is 4:3 and most R61 are 16:10. Boards are not designed to be compatible between standard and wide screen models, although with hacks it can be accomplished.

I should be more precise: both units are 4:3 15,1".

In that case ZaZ gave you the answer: YES, the mobos are swappable.
