ssd in a R50e ?

#1 Post by jean-patrick » Mon Jan 01, 2018 9:08 am

Hello,
I try to fix a 1834 R50e (The battery and the cmos battery are dead, the ram was upgraded to 2 Go, the power supply was changed, Sparky linux with non pae kernel replaced win xp)

Is it possible to upgrade the original hard disk (40 Go) with a ssd and which one if possible?

Thanks for advices.

Yes you can, with an IDE/PATA SSD.
R50e has the same needs as this: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=106749
