Question about Type-Model No. - A31

#1 Post by pitsche » Wed Jul 13, 2005 1:25 am

Hello,

I have a question again concerning the Type-Model Numbers. As you perhaps know, I am looking for a late A-series model like the A30/p or A31/p with higher resolution (SXGA+ or UXGA).

I found some items, but their Type-Model numbers are not listed in "tawbook.pdf".

More confusing is - at least to me ;-) - that I find the Type-Model numbers on the Lenovo-Website.

Example:
used item: 2652-M5G (and Lenovo-Website)
tawbook.pdf: 2652-M5U

I thought that the "tawbook.pdf" document is THE guiding reference.

Isn't that so? Is there somewhere else another 'complete' list of of type model variations or is it only online at the Lenovo-Website?

Thanks for helping increase my ThinkPad-knowledge :D

Do you know http://www.thinkwiki.org/ or Mambo or Typo3 or b2evolution or GIMPshop or Open Office? You do? Great stuff, right?

It is the guiding document, but for North American models only.

An M5G is an EU model. Usually, the only difference in specifications is related to the keyboard.

Thanks a lot. The obvious is often not very obvious to me, isn't it? :D
