A31 power button replacement.

#1 Post by Gonzaleitor » Sat Oct 14, 2023 7:56 pm

Is the A31 power button replaceable? The button in My flawless keyboard doesn't work but the button in the destroyed one is in perfect shape. Can they be swapped? Do I need a special tool to Open the keyboard?

I've never tried that swing but presume it's doable.

The real question is whether the button is faulty, or its connection to the board.

My path would probably be to swap all the other keys from one keyboard to the other if possible...

Good luck.

I thought it would be easier to replace the button than half a keyboard, but maybe replacing keys is less harmful.

The connection is good. I know it because I used one keyboard to turn it on and then hot swapped to the other and the keyboard works great.
Thanks!
