You are going to need to post a link, some pictures, or some other proof to convince the skeptical (myself included) that your claim is true.
Simply shouting that the Z series exists simply will not do...
But I hope it's true

Homebuilt PC: AMD Athlon XP (Barton) @ 1.47 GHz; nForce2 Ultra; 1GB RAM; 80GB HDD @ 7200RPM; ATI Radeon 9600; Integrated everything else!
I phoned Lenovo up, and yes, a Z series WILL be coming out soon! If you don't believe me, just call them!K. Eng wrote:You are going to need to post a link, some pictures, or some other proof to convince the skeptical (myself included) that your claim is true.

From the above link:
"A further expansion of the popular ThinkPad line is on the way, he said, citing the planned September release of the widescreen Z series."
I hope it comes out EARLY September 2005 (like, first week hopefully), because if it is 15.4 or smaller, has a Pentium M, and an X600 or better, I'm buying it for sure. Right now I'm undecided between a T43 and an i9300. I prefer ThinkPad quality and portability, but I need more graphics power and the i9300 offers ridiculously more than the T43 for the same price (Canada).

I can't imagine it being larger than 15.4.HamTard wrote: I hope it comes out EARLY September 2005 (like, first week hopefully), because if it is 15.4 or smaller, has a Pentium M, and an X600 or better, I'm buying it for sure. Right now I'm undecided between a T43 and an i9300.
I'd like to see two models, a small one around 12 inch and a large 14/15"

I don't. The rounded edges might not look that nice but I don't thing the square corners would work much better, mainly because of the overal shape of the unit, size and width are also a big factor but that's all just my opinion.

Are there pictures of this thing? Links to pictures?
Edit: Ok I saw the pics over at Engadget Chinese... I cannot say that I am a fan of the design. The rounded edges make it look like a Dell or consumer grade HP. I hope it is not a plasticky piece of junk, or the ThinkPad reputation will suffer
