Obtaining recovery CDs for an older machine.

#1 Post by JEBB » Tue Sep 13, 2005 9:59 pm

Not too long ago I bought a refurb R40 2681. The operating system was on the hidden partition. Will IBM supply recovery disks on request for free or for a fee? If they would do so, where would I request them? Thanks

I called IBM and the recovery disks are available. The fee was $51.41 total.

I view it as insurance.
