A20m USB port tiny black part -- Replacement available?

I have a huge problem. For the last couple of weeks this little black plastic part keeps falling from the USB port. I put it back in and it never stays. The other day I accidentally left it behind and my boyfriend threw it away without even asking me if it was important. I could kill him.

So my question is: Can I get another of these parts, and how can I make it stay in there? It's got 4 dents that slide over the metal teeth of the port. Very small part, barely bigger than my thumbnail.

I'm hoping to get a better TP in a few months and then sell this one. Would like it to be whole when I do so.
