Oh wow, the pricing is more like the R-series than the T's.
So this is a low-end model then?
I like it anyway. :P

As I can tell, it's supposed to fit in the niche of the R series on home, yet have business features.

The 2529FVU will be hard to beat, when 1842SLU is the competition from the standard-screened side (except 1842SLU has a CD-RW/DVD. However, 2529FVU has a full UBEnh, whereas 1842SLU doesn't have the eject mechanism.)
Current: 365XD (120 MHz, 72 MiB, 6.4 GB, 4x CD-ROM, 10.4" TFT)
Past: T61p 15.0" QXGA, T60p 15.0" QXGA, X61 Tablet SXGA+, R51e 14.1" XGA, X21

CTO Models or Express Only

#6 Post by safelder » Tue Sep 20, 2005 11:50 am

Right now, it looks like the only models available on the website are the Express models (and nothing in the tabook). Are there CTO models on the near-term horizon?

Official specs for the Z60t:
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-61318
I do appreciate that weights are shown for all the accessories -- useful.
Looks like the titanium cover adds a quarter pound.
The fastest CPU listed in the specs (2.13) doesn't appear to be for sale from the site yet.
May have missed it, but I do not see the specs on the flash media reader.

from everything I've seen, the T series will still flagship the Thinkpad line.
