ThinkPad Z-Series introduction video at DEMO fair

I like that magnesium space frame, they took from the car industry. Hope, that the fancy Z60 Thinkvantage stuff will come to T-series as well.
Brushed, pure Titanium cover... hmm it rather needs the NASA logo, not the IBM sticker. :-)

omg did you screen wobble when we was picking up and placing the notebook down...

wtf! thing is supposed to be a tank. the industry is doomed. HP is actually going more conservative design now, may follow them.

dont [censored] them just yet. That was the 15" budget model, I think you'd find that kind of wobble on pretty much any 15" laptop either widescreen or 4:3. Also, since it is the budget model, it probably has the plastic back cover rather than the reinforced one which may also attribute to the wobbling.

Although I dont have one to check, has anyone tried to see if something like an A31P wobbles like that?

I have a 15" T with those tight, tight hinges that lift the entire machine when you try to open the LCD. It wobbles exactly the same as the 15.4" Z did in that video. So I don't think you have to worry (at least judging only by that metric).
