Personally I like it.

I'm curious though - legacy serial ports or no? Going to make me mad - if I have to go buy a serial port card to connect to routers and unix boxes.

I like the Ti cover - but I'd rather see it in black instead of silver. After all - what's a thinkpad if it's not black?

I like the WWAN and video options. DDR2 memory is good. I think we'll see better speeds than 2 Ghz in later models.

A step in the right direction in my opinion. Now - if we can get two ultrabays.... :)

No serial or parallel port - usb (3 of them though), IEEE 1394, VGA, RJ45, RJ11, Headphone & Mic

On Z60t you have 1 PCMCIA Type 2 slot and an SD card reader
On Z60m you have 1 PCMCIA Type 2 slot, a PCI express slot and a 3in1 card reader

I'm not sure for your purpose but maybe the usb > serial/parallel convertor would work

Agree that i'd love a black titanium cover but I do actually like the silver one now and I also wish that 2 ultrabays would make a comeback - i'll cross my fingers for an A60 or something.

Also should mention - no serial or parallel on the new port replicator but will be on the new mini-dock and advanced dock

I guess I'll get over the serial port. So far - it looks good. Would prefer a 2 PCMCIA and I love the PCI express slot.

an A60m sounds good.... Levono? Are you listening?
