Yeah...that is the basic stripped down version with a CD-ROM drive and a 1.5Ghz Celeron-M processor.

Lenovo is pretty bad oh shipment of its laptops. I odered z60m around sep 25th and the shipment date was nov 15th. A guy from customer service told me that there was 50/50 chance that it would be shiped before 15th.

What kind of release is this if they are not going to ship the product for nother month? Not only this but they are misleading by stating on their website that they will ship it in 2-4 weeks.

PS: few tips from my experience dealing with lenovo sales department. It is probably well known, but you can get 5% discount if you purchase by calling lenovo. A guy from lenovo offered me 5% off and free shiping(but only on basic z60m). You can olso get 5% off if you buy in visa store and pay with visa cc (visa offer can be used with other promotions, like free bags, shiping , etc. )

I kinda wish I knew when something was going to take place. Right now I am probably going to shift my purchase over to another brand, as they don't seem to want to sell em yet, but they sure you plaster the "discrete graphics" performance stuff all over.
