#1 Post by tony6264 » Tue Oct 11, 2005 7:26 am

I just picked up a t23 and am not sure if it has the built in wireless...I was wondering if someone here could help. it is system model 2647bu378mb6l6 and in the bios it shows anarea called RFID securityand in that area the antenna and the gate are both disabled and I dont see any way to change them. Any ideas?

According to http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... country=us , it doesn't come with wireless, and it doesn't say it is wireless-enabled. You can look in Device Manager to see if there is a card. Otherwise, you would have to add wireless yourself. ... JD Hurst

The RFID is a security audit control device used by some corporations. It is generall not installed but can be if you wish. You will need an RFID scanner at each door to tell when the laptop goes near the door(in or out).
