Thinkpad T30 Keyboard, displays incorrect output

#1 Post by epic » Mon Oct 17, 2005 2:36 pm

Hello all,

I have an issue with a few keys on my Thinkpad keyboard, which just started today. It seems that the output now displays a different character. No viruses as it's a fresh install.

Current keys now type out:
  • Code: Select all

    U = 4
    J = 1
    M = 0
    I = 5
    K = 2
    O = 6
    L = 3
    P = *
    ;(:) = -
    /(?) = +
    > = does not type anything.
    0 = /
Is there anything I can do to resolve this?

This may help...

Well, it seems my num lock light is not functioning. Also when windows boots apparently num lock is active so I have to disable it to get the correct key functions back.
