Z60M 15.4 screen availability date?

I am interested in the Z60m with the 15.4 screen.

Can anyone give me some idea as to when this laptop will actually become available, or perhaps a projected ship date?

Also, are these machines constructed such that the consumer can easily upgrade RAM, as with most (all?) other laptops?

1 last question: If these machines are to be shipped with Pm processors with a 400 FSB and an intel 915 chipset, can the Z60m be 'pinmodded' to provide 2ghtz processor speed with a 533 fsb?

This pinmodding thing is something that many Dell users have done with some success. I read about it at

Wow. I guess no one has any idea when these machines will ship.

Is IBM/Lenovo known for making announcements and then not shipping the product for a long time?

Lastly, I see that these machines will be shipped with chips that have a 533 fsb, not a 400 fsb, so the pin mod linked above won't work......unless you buy a 400 fsb Pm chip and swap them while doing the pin mod.

Even then, I am not sure if it would work or not. I would want to consult with someone far more tech savvy than I.

In the meantime, I'll probably end up with an Asus or an Acer, unless Lenovo makes the 15.4 Z series avail soon.
