Thinkpad A31---unable to backup data

hallo,

anybody can help me how to back up data--

I bought the Laptop "reconditioned" online from a retailer---

first I was told to download a burner---didn't work

now they suggest that I get external burner---

I should be able to back up---only have CD , no floppy

can anybody help me---

Is there another machine around? Some network cables, a cheap switch, some network settings, and off you go ...

First off - are you sure you have a burner?

I would get a hard drive caddy for the ultrabay with second hard drive. Easy and fast way to back up.

Don't leave the second drive in your computer, put it in a secure place.
2x Thinkpad W700 (Core 2 Extreme QX9300), W500 (T9900), X120e, 4x A31P (inactive)
