Hi,

 The R30/31 ThinkPad’s require memory modules that are PC133.

Try a PC133 SODIMM stick and see if works - I bet it will. Best of Luck.

P.S. - the largest supported chip is 512 MB per slot; the maximum system memory is 1 GB of RAM. Keep in mind that Windows (or other OS) will report your system memory 8 MB less then what you have installed because that is reserved for the graphics chip.
- End of Line -
R31 2656-6FU 1.13GHz, 256MB + 512MB, 80GB 7K2 HDD, Ethernet, Wireless & Modem.

365XD 2625-DEE 100MHz, 24MB, 1.0GB HDD
