Error message 2010 on R52s?

Error message 2010 on R52s?

I am thinking of replacing my R52's hard drive, and wonder if I'd get the 2010 error message with a non-IBM drive...

Do the R52s use the same PATA-SATA Bridge as the T43s do, which have this error message?

Yes. The R52's and T43's are similar internally, so unfortunately you'll get the same error message...
