A30 does not turn on but battery light is green?

I have a Thinkpad A30 that is probably "dead" Its actually a users at my company... The computer is un-responsive to the power button. When I plug the ac cord into the back of the thinkpad the battery light comes on as though it is charging, but when I push the power button nothing happens. The fan doesnt spin, the hard drive doesnt start, just a black screen and a lot of silence. Anyone have any ideas as to what might have caused this? Or if it is repairable?
