How to Disable Hyper Threading on G41 - HELP !!!

Hi,
I am need to run software (ProTools) that requires Hyper THreading to be disabled. I looked in BIOS and I can't find anywere wher I could do that .... Please point me to the right directions !!!

I have G41 thinkpad.

My syntax is tar -xzvf file.tar.gz
