Right Modem Card for 380Z?

#1 Post by ThinkAgain » Sat Dec 24, 2005 12:26 pm

I'm rigging up a 380Z for a friend, and it has no modem. Is the correct PC Card for a 380Z modem termed a "56K PCMCIA Type II Fax Modem Card?"

I need to know the correct terminology for the PC Card when I go to order it
online! Do I need to mention any other specs?

Any suggestions as to a good, affordable vendor?

Thanks for any feedback!

Actually you posted in the wrong forum. This forum is for the new Z60m and Z60t. The forum you should have posted in is the ThinkPad Legacy Hardware forum. Probably a moderator will move this thread to the proper forum in a little while.

You might be able to get some helpful information from the Hardware Maintenance Manual. If you find a part number, do a search on e-bay, Google, or Froogle using just the part number. You might come up with something.
