video card upgrade (R50e)

hi all,
i have a thinkpad R50e
1.6 GH PM
40GB HDD
64 MB intel video card (shared memory)
256 MB RAM

and i was looking to upgrade the video card ..so is it possible to upgrade it or
i can get a PCMCIA video card or a USB card?

In laptops you can not upgrade video card. The chip is fixed on
Intel mother board and not upgradable. And secondly laptops don
come with AGP slot. How ever they give PCMCIA slot for using lan cards or IEEE cards. For that u have to buy a new laptop. :shock: That is the only way. And i think Intel extreme2 graphic adapter works fine. I have IBM® Thinkpad® R50e-1834-EQ1 . I use to play Max Pyne and other
highly graphic dependant games. No problems at all. I played till lat
stage where more grphical interface is added. You can may add more
RAM.
