using R51 recovery cds on R52

Hi,
I bought a R52 with german windows on it and found a uk version set of recovery cds on ebay, but they are for the R51. Seems that ibm doesnt give you uk version recovery cds when you bought a thinkpad with german windows on it.
Do you think they will work with the R52 - maybe with changing some drivers I can get from ibm site ?
