Wireless through-put on z60t

#1 Post by steve95 » Thu Jan 12, 2006 10:32 am

I have run speed tests on my z60t with the internal thinkpad a/b/g mini-pci and it only achieves 25 - 50% of what I get with my T41 with the internal 2200b/g.

I have tried numerous sites and the results are the same. The adapter speed only reaches a 11mps even on a G-router.

Any suggestions or is this just a bad card.

P.S. I have reinstalled all the drivers and still no changes in performance as indicated by the speed tests on dsl reports.

Thanks,

Steve

have you tried setting it to 802.11g in Access connections rather than leaving it on the default Automatic?
