So it's not a Core Duo and it doesn't have and x1600. Buyers regret? When I need a laptop I need a laptop - not vaporware. Widescreen is a plus. 128 MB of DDR2 VRAM is excellant. PCIE is also a bonus. Benchmarks show it's twice as fast in graphics as my A31p. 1/3 faster on SSE2 and Floating point instructions. It's twice as fast in multi-threaded operations. No RS-232 serial port is a drawback - but I'll get used to it.
Ultrabay Enchanced is interesting. So now I have to purchase even more hard drive sleds to approach the storage capcity of my A31p (with 3x 100 gb hard drives). My A31p is still my workhorse for now - primarily because of the software load and capacity it has. Add all of the ultrabay options for the A31p and it still has tremendous value at work. Eventually I'll put in the eight or so hours to load the software and optimized the configuration that my A31p has. But I'll save that for a rainy day with nothing to do.
Now - to figure out how to retrofit EVDO into it and convine Levono to build an A60p.
