Which are the slowest/oldest R, A an G to include USB2?

#1 Post by teepee » Mon Jan 23, 2006 8:05 am

Hi

I am looking for a used laptop that I can connect to my hi-fi for a specific project. For this I need a minimum 1Ghz processor, plus Cardbus, USB2 and Ethernet. Basically I'm looking for the cheapest and/or quietist option. Could anyone tell me which R, A, and G series models were the first to meet these minimum specs please? I'm posting a similar query in the T2x/T3x forum and the 770 etc forum, as I'm unfamiliar with anything pre T4x.

All the best :-)

Mike

check out www.thinkwiki.org under the hardware specs or get the tabook.pdf mentioned in the mainforum. It will list everything you wanted to know and then some.
