Thinkpad bios crc error...

Hi,
Ok...I have a Thinkpad A21M with a corrupt bios (just bought from ebay, not a password problem, thats easily solved). I have an eeprom programmer capable of writing to a 24rfo8 chip. The problem is, what do I actually write to the eeprom. I can download the bios from IBM but which file from the floppy is the file I need...

$016D000.FL1 - bios rom I suspect
$016D000.FL3 - platform info I suspect

and is it as simple as renaming the bios.rom file as .bin and then writing to the eeprom ?
