Hello,
when I did a clean install of XP on my Z60m, so that the screen utility was not installed, I could switch the screen off using function F3 (a little window appeared stating "Preparing to turn off screen" and then the screen went blank).
However, when I wanted to install Access Connections, I also had to install the screen utility, and when I pressed Fn+F3, another window appeared so I could change the energy settings (this is the function as described on Lenovo's site for the Z60m) IN ADDITION to the "screen off" feature.
Unfortunately, when I press Fn+F3 now, only the new window appears but the screen doesn't switch off any more. As I'm running XP as a user, it seems I can't change the energy profile, so it is completely useless to me.
Does anyone know how to restore screen-off when pressing Fn+F3?
Thanks,
AMS
How do I switch off screen with Fn+F3 on Z60m?
