I already ordered the Z60m last Nov. but now I am debating on cancelling my order and getting the T60p. The main thing I'll use the Thinkpad for is:

Gaming (which Thinkpad is better?)

Hmmm. Tough choice. I think I'll wait for the z6x with duo core and the x1600. I like the wide screen and the ti cover.

BTW - BattleField 2 and HL2 play very fast on the Z60m-EAU

I'd go with the T60p model...

If you waited this long, I'd wait a little longer.

I got in a hurry and ordered a Z60M and am sorely dissapointed in the screen brightness and viewing angle and looking for comparisons with others experiences - especially since I bought from a non-returnable source and am otherwise stuck.

Are these two laptops comparable? Does anyone know who makes the Z series? It seems to me that the T and X and the old A series have always been of much higher build quality than the R, G, and now the Z.

The Z60M screen is a thing of beauty. I don't know about anyone else, but I usually sit directly in front of teh Lappy.

Those are two different laptops, would they even cost around $800 apart as well. T60p would proably be a better choice, if you really need that kind of a laptop.

From what I have experienced so far, if you are looking for a laptop with lots of strength, go for the z60m. The Ti cover feels like a plate of steel, where as the thinner magnesium shell on the t43/t60 tends to flex a bit.
