Resource Conflict Error Message

#1 Post by cwirth » Mon Feb 06, 2006 4:28 pm

Upon bootup I am getting the following error message on a R51 Thinkpad:

Resource conflict - PCI network controller in slot 01
Bus: 02, Device:02, Function:00

Press F1 to Setup

The only thing I can think of is that I installed a Linksys PCI wireless card. I removed the card and still get the message. Any suggestions on what to change?

Conflict number must change? Does not happen to my fav. R52 at all. Tell me more by quoting or you can private message me.

Check the manufacturers website of the new device and see if there are any known issues. I had purchased a wireless pcmcia card and it caused bsod. Had to return it.
