R32 microphone issues....

Hi,

I have an R32 Type 2658 Thinkpad. I believe that this computer has a built-in microphone, but I cannot get it to work via the Sound Recorder utility. What could be wrong here? I have the volume up on the microphone, but it still doesn't work.

I'd appreciate any relevant advice.

Nope, sorry.

go to Sound properties, on View menu, select Microphones as one of the viewable stats.

Then, disable mute.

Also, go to Sound & Audio on Control Panel, and disable & enable microphone.

Also, you might want to replace the microphone. warranty? Try other recording software.
