R51 Battery Upgrades...

Hi,
I'm using the Thinkpad r51...
my model no is r51-2887-MQ5
Everythings great... battery SUCKS!
Anyone know of any replacement batteries that would give me a better life? the current one gives me barely 3 hrs....

Celeron M doesn't have SpeedStep, so battery life is worse than the Pentium M systems. You could try getting the 9-cell battery, disable unneeded stuff like Wi-Fi when not in use, upgrade to Pentium M, or try lowering the CPU voltage by using a third-party utility (limited effectiveness, also due to lack of SpeedStep).

yeah i understand but the must be a high performance battery for r51s...
