Can this be done?

#1 Post by PutnamJct » Wed Mar 22, 2006 3:04 pm

The placement of the Windows between the left Ctrl & Alt keys is giving me small fits. I'm to used to them being together....... Is there a way to alter the registry or something to make the Alt key the Window key & vice versa? :?:

There are tools that can do that. Don't know any off the top of my head...

In the long run you better adjust to the way it is, because it's like this on 99.9% of the keyboards.

There is a Keyboard Customizer Utility in the ThinkVantage suite, it may help.

The IBM utility will not do the trick. It's very limited in functionality and only allows a choice of predefined actions to be mapped to a choice of predefined keys.
