question about "num lock"

#1 Post by Andrew » Fri Apr 14, 2006 12:10 pm

this is  but how do you activate num lock? i see the numbers on the keyboard next to the right side keys, but i do not know how to turn it on!

scroll lock, you can have the indicator, but i don't use scroll lock, and i see the LED for num lock but it won't light up when i press the scroll lock/num lock button.

any help would be appreciated. kthnxbye.

Check in the bios, F1 at startup there should be a setting in there to activate.

It's SHIFT plus NumLk to activate or deactivate.

Detour through the BIOS is unnecessary.

thnx so much!

i knew it wasn't fn + scroll lock because "num lock" wasn't in blue. never even would've thought it was shift, i knew it wasn't control or alt.
