A22m and Resource Conflict – PCI Network Controller Resolved

#1 Post by iboza » Wed Apr 26, 2006 9:03 am

Hello Group

I have an A22m with no add-in cards running WinXP pro with 512M Ram

Upon reboot just after the post I get an error message that says the following:

Error
Resource Conflict – PCI Network Controller
Bus:00, Device:03, Function:00
Error
Resource Conflict – PCI
Bus:00, Device:03, Function:01

When looking at Device Manager
I have a yellow triangle on my network card and my modem
Also in the systray is the icon that you see when you have a USB device pluged in.
When I query what it is, it states that its my CD rom

When I press <F1> and enter the bios setup under the Config > PCI section
I see the following
INTA PCI IRQ [11]
INTB PCI IRQ [11]
INTC PCI IRQ [11]
INTD PCI IRQ [11]

Can you please help Me

Do you have Windows XP installation supplement files installed?

Solved

I removed the battery and unpluged the A/C and let it sit.

At reboot the errors were gone.

Thanks for the reply

This error occured long before the OS even started to load. There must be another config that is stored in volitile memory that is powered by the main battery i'm guessing
